Zone4 Hove is a coach-supervised training facility at Dairy Place, 37 The Droveway, near Hove Park, and the sauna is part of its Recovery Zone. The venue says it is not an open gym, and that all use of equipment is supervised by a coach or instructor.
The Recovery Zone has a traditional sauna, an infrared sauna and ice baths. The venue describes the ice baths as a contrast to the heat. Temperatures, sauna capacity, session length and the heater type aren't published, and nor are showers, changing rooms or towels.
Access for people who aren't members is through credits. A Recovery Zone visit costs 2 credits, and credit packs can be bought on their own without a membership. They expire after 90 days, with no contract. Zone4 doesn't publish a single-visit price. There is also a Recovery Zone membership from £120 a month, and a 30 day trial at £120 plus a £30 joining fee that includes unlimited Recovery Zone access.
The Flint café on site serves 17 Grams speciality coffee and is open to the wider community.
People who want hot and cold in one visit and are fine with a booking-led setup. The credit route works for occasional visits. The unlimited Recovery Zone access in the trial and the Large Group Training membership suits people already training here.
