Our promise
We list venues on the facts they publish, we never take payment for position, and when we are wrong we fix the page and say so. Corrections go to hello@saunaandcoldplunge.co.uk.

Independence
No venue pays to be listed, to be placed higher, to have a page rewritten or to have something left out. There are no sponsored placements, adverts or affiliate links, and we take no commission on bookings.
Lists follow rules a reader can see: along the coast from west to east, alphabetically, or by price where the page is about price. The order is never set by who a venue is.
What we list and leave out
We list venues that offer a sauna, cold plunge or ice bath to the public, by session, by day pass or by private hire, and gyms and hotel spas with a sauna, marking plainly the ones that are members-only or residents-only. We do not list adult or gay saunas. A venue is listed once its own site or booking page shows it is open, or, for a new opening, once a council planning approval or the venue itself says it is coming.
We publish no ratings and no reviews. Descriptions come from what the venue publishes, with the source one tap away.
Corrections
If something on a page is wrong, tell us. Send the page address, what is wrong and where the right answer is written, ideally on the venue's own website, to hello@saunaandcoldplunge.co.uk. A person reads it.
- We check the report against the venue's own page, not against a third party.
- If it is right, we correct the fact, with its quote and source, and the page's check date updates.
- If it is wrong, or we can't confirm it, we leave the page as it is and say why if you asked.
- A mistake that we made, rather than a price that changed, is corrected on the page itself. We do not leave a known error up while we wait for the next monthly check.
If you run a venue
You can ask us to fix anything on your page, add photos with the credit you want, or remove photos. It is free and it does not change where your venue appears. Start on the claim your listing page.
Who is responsible
Alex Christou is the editor and answers for what is published here. How facts are checked is described on the how we check page, and this policy is reviewed by hand; the date at the top shows the last time.
Asked a lot
How do I report a wrong price?
Email hello@saunaandcoldplunge.co.uk with the page address and where the correct price is written on the venue's own site. We check it against that page before changing anything.
Will you take a photo down?
Yes. Ask and we remove any photo within 48 hours, no reason needed.
Can a venue ask to be removed?
A venue can ask to correct, add to or remove its own photos, and to correct anything we got wrong. A public business with a public price list is otherwise listed on the facts it publishes itself.
