What it's like
Stanmer Sauna Garden is a community interest company running a rustic wood-fired sauna on a woodland plot at Stanmer Organics, in Stanmer Park. It describes the sauna as a non-profit, and its Instagram says it is the second non-profit sauna in the UK. It was named Best Health/Outreach Sauna 2026 by the British Sauna Society.
Cold is a dip among the trees. The venue doesn't say what the dip is (tub, pond or something else) or give a temperature.
Afterwards there's free organic herbal tea, filtered water and soup. The soup runs on a pay-it-forward basis: you bring a veggie for the next group's pot. You can also add a £5 pay-it-forward to fund someone else's session.
